News Nugget: Wendy’s new fries keep skin on and add sea salt

With more of us eating clean foods, the focus at Wendy’s is now on “real” ingredients. The fast-food chain will soon start serving fries made with Russett potatoes, skin on, and sprinkled with sea salt. The new fries will have more sodium – you’ll get 500 milligrams instead of 350 in a medium size. And 430 calories versus 420.
