From the newest barefoot running shoes to low carb bread that tastes amazing, here are a few FatFighterTV finds I’ve been enjoying lately. Happy shopping!
Merrell Barefoot Run Dash Glove
I’m in love with these barefoot running shoes from Merrell’s new collection for women, not just because they’re super lightweight and look so cool, but because of their benefits. They’re designed to connect your feet to the terrain; encourage a neutral position so that your head, hips, and feet are aligned; and help strengthen the muscles in your feet and legs. They come with a Vibram Barefoot sole that adds bruise protection. And ummm… they’re Merrell, so you know you’re getting a quality product. $110.00
Julian Bakery low carb bread
A nutritionist started this bakery, now based in La Jolla, California, which uses organically grown grains. Each slice of the popular Smart Carb #1 has 109 calories, 13 grams of carbs (1 net carb), 12 grams of fiber, and 12 grams of protein. The list of healthy ingredients includes fresh ground whole grain wheat, sprouts of kamut, spelt, rye, lentils, quinoa, and ground flaxseed. I also tried the Smart Carb #2 (Cinnamon Raisin). Both are amazing! $7.99 per loaf.
BlenderBottle Classic
I’ve been using this bottle for the past couple of months to mix up my protein shakes – which always include some sort of nut butter. The shakes always come out smooth with no chunks. The bottle comes with a BlenderBall wire whisk that whips around to mix your drinks. Just add your ingredients, drop in the BlenderBall, and shake. $7.49
Primitive Fuels Turkey Mix
I sampled this brand new product at the Arnold and really liked it. It’s a unique blend of turkey jerky; raw almonds, walnuts, and cashews; and dried cherries, blueberries, and cranberries. It’s available in May. Price TBA.
Disclosure: I received complimentary samples of some of these products. Others, I found on my own.
