Last month, I told you a little about the Boot Camp class I’ve been taking. Since then, a lot of you have been asking me how it’s going, so I thought this time I would show you. Click anywhere on the picture below to see the video.
My legs felt like Jell-O after this workout! After you watch the video, let me know what you think. Do you like tough workouts? Do you try to push yourself? It’s been awhile since I’ve exercised this hard. Can’t wait to find out the changes in my body fat percentage, etc. – I will let you know how I did.

WOW! That looks fantastic and scary at the same time. BUT it is true that you push yourself more with others and an instructor that is pushing you. I was in Spin for an hour on Saturday and we said the same thing. I never push myself to the limit like I do in that class with others and with Melissa shouting (in a nice, encouraging way) to DO IT! Thanks for the info on this new thing that I did not know about!
I like it….some similarities to the Boot Camp class that I take. I am not a fan of those sit ups or hip flexor ups as I like to call them….. The stairs and total team drive looks awesome! We did kettlebells today, medicine ball tosses and hill climbs etc. I love your posts as always.
Wow, that just looks intense! But, I am sure your body will thank you for it afterwards.
OUCH!! Wow, that’s intense! Good for you for sticking it out.
If you love to work-out, this is for you…if you just love to say you work out, it’s not.
Seriously, this isn’t for lightweights—everybody can benefit. But, if you’re not ready for a moderate to intensely strenuous hour 4 times a week, you could be miserable.
See the funny thing is—it’s all voluntary. But when you’re there and these guys push and your class is also pushing you, suddenly the voluntary part doesn’t seem so voluntary.
Proceed with caution, soldier. And enjoy the RESULTS.

I too love boot camp style workouts. You get so much more *bang* for your buck. (and time)
Some of the exercises they show make me nervous though. I tore my knee apart with that wheelbarrow exercise. stay away from that one!
WOW! I’m impressed you could do sit ups while talking!!! I wish I lived by you and I could have done it with you!!

This looks awesome!! I really need a good booty-kickin website like this. I will definitely check out the fitwit bootcamps.

workoutmommy – thanks for the heads up on the wheelbarrow – I’ll definitely be careful.
hb – you’re right, the intensity is not for everyone.
ocampo – move to Ohio
What an awesome video! It’s, like, all professional and stuff. I’m very impressed!
Boot camps don’t typically seem like a lot of fun, but I admit you make it sound like the results are worth it.
I’ll find out all the results this week, Zandria – hopefully my weekend of splurging didn’t ruin it for me!
I’ve been taking an awesome boot camp class in new york on the brooklyn bridge. it’s called the brooklyn bridge boot camp and i’ve never done anything harder than that. my body shows it too!
Linda – yes, it’s a touch workout, isn’t it???!! I am taking a break from it now and just doing aerobic classes at the gym, but will probably get back to it in the spring – it feels good to be challenged like that!
