Weight gain may be another potential danger caused by food additives. A new study shows if you eat foods with monosodium glutamate (MSG), you are more likely to be overweight or obese. Researchers from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and China find those who used the most MSG were nearly three times more likely to be overweight than those who didn’t use the flavor enhancer. The study is in the journal, Obesity.

Yeah this stuff is not good for you. My wife and I stopped using this about 2 months ago, they use it a lot here in Asia, it’s really hard to avoid when eating out.
