Just a quick note to let you know the remnants of Hurricane Ike blew through Columbus, Ohio yesterday and left the FatFighterTV “studios” with no power. So, I am online right now for just a bit at my brother’s house.
I so wish I had one of these people-powered exercise machines that I told you about earlier this month. I would even settle for a Fender Blender because I totally miss my daily chocolate-banana-peanut butter protein shakes!
Hope to be back to regular posting soon!

Poor thing! Hope power comes on soon!

We got some wicked wind and sideways rain here in St. Louis too. Hang in there!
Sorry! It’s amazing how far reaching the effects of hurricanes can be!
When I was in medical school, I had a treadmill that was just, well, med. student powered! I had to keep the incline up, and it was a tough workout! Still, it helped release much of the stress of school, and kept me fit, so I’ll aways remember that old machine!
Hope you’ve regained electricity! And, these storms really do make us recall times when we weren’t so reliant on various types of technology and other gadgets.
Cheers, Colette

Uhhh, the hotel can make the shakes for you! All you have to do is tell the maid how to do it ; )
Also, the hotel dog needs his poopie walks so that’s how you can get exercise……….
watched this before and it wouldnt let me comment…thought it was you(r site) but am realizing it musta been me (my sh**** computor/internet connection)
I CANT BELIEVE HOW BAD IS WAS IN PA/OHIO.
my parents (pa) have been without power for a while now too and I thought WE were getting IKE in TX!
Hang in there…see you soon!
I hope you get power soon and I’m glad you’re safe. I have family in Houston, and they said that the storm was really scary. I just went to Galveston for the first time this past June, and I’m glad I did because my aunt told me that the island is now “kaput.”
Hope you get your power back soon! We are in the Columbus area too and just got power back Tuesday morning. I can’t believe how bad it was and still is here. Stay safe.
Thanks everybody! We are going on day 4 now with no power.
It is a big inconvenience, but we are all well.
I can’t imagine what the REAL hurricane victims must be going through.
Glad you are all doing well cannot wait for the power to come back on (as I know you guys can’t either).
