Anybody hungry for FREE ice cream? (Psst… it’s this week’s giveaway!)
Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been busy trying a bunch of frozen treats that Blue Bunny sent me – they either had no added sugar or were lower in calories, sugars, and carbs. Besides the no sugar added Bunny Tracks ice cream in the picture above (reduced fat vanilla ice cream with chocolate-covered peanuts, peanut butter-filled chocolate bunnies, chocolate fudge and peanut butter caramel), I also sampled the following:
100 Calorie Butter Pecan Ice Cream Bars
Dark Chocolate covered Black Raspberry ice Cream Bars
FrozFruit Chunky Strawberry bars
FrozFruit Superfruit Pomegranate Cherry bars
Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake Light Ice Cream Personals
Yes, even in the 30-degree weather we’ve been having here in Ohio, I can down some frozen goodies – I just crank up the heater or throw on an extra sweater.
Yum! They’re all tasty!
My favorite is the strawberry bars – I love strawberries, and these have real chunks of the fruit in each bar.
I liked the Bunny Tracks a lot, too, but it had a slight Splenda aftertaste to me – I’m super sensitive to that kind of thing. My brother, his wife, and my niece and nephew also tried it but didn’t notice an aftertaste.
The personals are a good idea, but each one is actually two servings – not one – so keep that in mind. The whole container is 200 calories. Not bad for ice cream.
Now for the FREE stuff… Five people will each win Bunny Bucks, a coupon good for one free Blue Bunny product – a carton of ice cream, a novelty pack, whatever you choose.
Just sign up for FFTV’s weekly newsletter to get entered in the drawing. If you’re already signed up, you’re automatically entered.

BULE BUNNY IS DELICIOUS !!
I would like to inform you of two items you might find of interest. First the good, Blue Bunny Sweet Freedom Fudge Lites w/only 35 calories per bar and .5 fat grams. Having 3 of these a day is comparable to eating an apple (calorie wise)& fat grams are great. Now for the bad news, I am very opposed to eating any Progresso Soups that list “hydrolized protein” in their list of ingredients ever since one of the news report programs (60 minutes, 20/20, etc.one of those)said there is a possibility of hydrolized protein causing brain damage.I recently called the 800-phone number on their soup can and discussed this with the person answering these calls & they denied this is true any more. I am not aware of any such announcement to the contrary and wonder if you look into this sort of thing. Progresso has a big “push” on their soups at the present time, especially since they have come out with the Lite ones which are being endorsed by Weight Watchers. Since this is such a serious issue I would appreciate any light you could shine on this.
Hi Shirley,
I have never heard of “hydrolized protein” but it sounds like an interesting ingredient. I will look into it and let you know what I find. Thanks for the info.
