Mixing it up is the way to go, but it is difficult for me because I like routines.

Katie - classes are my favorite, too! Signing up as a guest at a community college is a great idea - I never even thought of that!

I have been trying to find low cost alternatives to the high priced personal trainers and pilates/yoga studios. I recently signed up for a gym through the city so it's not the nicest fanciest gym in the world but they offer a year membership for $75 and it includes all classes (cardio kickboxing-fave, yoga, spin). I'm also planning on signing up as a guest at the local community college where they charge a low monthly fee and membership includes 6 days of classes (zumba, step, spin, pilates, yoga, etc). I am a huge fan of classes because it makes me feel connected and helps to keep me in a routine.

Maudrey - aerobics classes have always been my favorite workouts, but I really enjoyed the Boot Camp class - it was fun and challenging, plus it was nice to try something different.

I've always been more attracted to workouts that are a bit - for lack of a better word - more "girly" like dance aerobics, yoga and pilates. I've never thought of trying those boot-camp workouts because they looked too tough for me. But if it's really fun as you describe it to be, maybe it's time to change my fitness regimen.
