Wow!! Soon you will giving away cars like Oprah
“Eye of the Tiger!”
I like it! Sahar – the new Oprah!
What I listen to depends on my mood, but it has to be update with a good beat. Lately, if I’m listening to music while working out, I’m likely to be listening to kid’s music. Hampster Dance actually has a pretty good workout beat to it – LOL!
ABBA. (No laughing.) Dancing Queen is a great pace for the NordicTrack!
Britney Spears (Womanizer, Gimme More) and anything by Bon Jovi gets me motivated!
I listen to Metallica, Nickelback, Lighter Shade of Brown, Rick James, Los Lonely Boys or Black Lodge Singers.
My favourite song to exercise to is “Hips Don’t Lie” by Christina Aguilera.
Caroline – Hey, if ABBA gets you going, then you go, girl! Sometimes I workout to Cher!
Dr. J – So far, I haven’t had any car companies contact me about giving away cars, dang it!
What I listen to totally depends on the day. I love music that makes me want to sing along. A new favorite is “So What” by Pink ~ it gets me all revved up. I am a teacher and I am starting grad school so I am currently listening to audiobooks. This allows me to work while I work-out!
jen – I’ve always thought about listening to audio books when I go for a walk or something. I may have to try that!
I have a set of classical music selections that have a nice beat, mostly from Beethoven that I like to listen to during my workouts.
I love to work out to the Queen music really gets me going
Healthy snacks have been a challenge for me, until I bought my first bag of baby carrots. They’re ready to eat, so instead of trying something else that’s “ready to eat,” like chips, I shake 10-2 baby carrots into a small bowl. Psychologically, I am satisfied because the carrots require a lot of chewing. Plus, raw carrots are very good for me.
I work out to Richard Simmons, Sweatin’ To The Oldies. If I had to choose a song? ” Gimme some lovin’.”
It depends on my mood also, but I did buy the Blue Man Group album for it’s beats and fun music. One of my favorites is “Sing Along” even though it has a slower beat than many of the others.
I love to listen to “The Cars”…….I’m such an 80s chick
My ultimate favorite music to listen too is CRAZY TRAIN by Ozzy…I love fast paced, metal music when I’m running on the elliptical trainer and I love other types of metal/hard rock, and old school rock like, “your daddy don’t dance and your momma don’t rock-n-roll”…you know, that sort of music when I’m walking the track at the local highschool…gotta have fast music for me other wise I feel my self bopping along slowly.
Would love to win this one…please!!!! This would make my day a bit brighter!
-barbarabaker
Whenever, Wherever by Shakira
Hot Stuff by The Pussycat Dolls
Piece of Me by Britney Spears
I like music that is fast and about us women using what we got!! lol
Wow! Surround sound? That’s amazing! My most energizing song is Neil Young’s Like a Hurricane and Down by the River!
Depends on my mood but my most recent favorite song with a great driving beat is “Don’t Stop the Music” by Rihanna.
Those ear phones are awesome…I saw those on the Biggest Loser! For some reason heavy metal helps me workout harder…and normally I don’t listen to it. Thats the stuff that my fiance listens to.
“Fidelity” by Regina Spektor…wait for the chorus, the beginning sounds like it will be slow…then it ROCKS!
I love to workout to It’s Raining Men. LOL I know but I love disco.
I’ve got what I call my “mowing” mix on my mp3 player. A couple I listen to are ELO’s “Mr. Blue Sky” and “Closer to Fine” by Indigo Girls.
Dree – It’s Raining Men is a great one – I totally forgot about it!!
Anything by Deep Forrest. Eye of the Tiger is great. My all time fav is Johm Mayer’s Waiting on the World to Change.
Chad – Blue Man Group sounds like a good one. Thanks for the comment.
Those really look cool.
Remember the 3 foot rule. No one should hear the music from more from 3 feet away and you should be able to converse from same distance.
Favorite workout (show my age) 60’s oldies or U2
I like to listen to songs with good beats like “Miss You” by M-flo featuring Melody, or “One more time” by Daft Punk. Usually electronic or techno is best for me.
ACDC gets me pumped up
Ooooh…love those!
Some of my current favorite workout songs (because our playlists change periodically, as we all know) are “Animal I Have Become” by Three Days Grace, “Points of Authority” by Linkin Park, and “Live Your Life” by T.I. and Rihanna.
Lately, I’m all about podcasts! There are so many great ones out there, on every topic imaginable. I don’t have enough time to fully listen to them all, but utilizing workout time to catch up on some of them is a great way to multi-task!
Lisanne624 – Great idea to multi-task and workout while you listen to podcasts. I’m getting all kinds of ideas now…
Dr Hubbard – the 3 foot rule is great advice! I wish people in cars would also follow that rule.
Oh those headphones look really cool.
My favorite workout songs, on my ipod are Keeps Getting Better, Christina Aguilera, Glamorous by Fergie, Leavin by Jesse McCartney, Pocketful of Sunshine Natasha Bedingfield, When I Grow Up, Pussycat Dolls and more.
