I can definitely relate to this one. A new report finds women step up their walking when it’s warm outside. Researchers from the University of Pittsburgh say many women are fair-weather exercisers, walking an average of 2,000 more steps a day in the summer than in the winter – about one mile more a day. Well, yeah!! I live in Florida people!
Although it’s in the teens this morning!! OK, I’ll run anyway. There’s my motivation for today. Tomorrow, I’ll find something. That’s the way I do it.
This is why I love living in s. california. If I lived back east, I’d probably be heavier because I’d be lazy in the cold weather!
If it were mild year round I would NEVER be indoors. I would love to move to Florida or California so I would have more outdoor exercise opportunities.

Given the warmer weather predicted for Memphis this weekend, I’ll be taking advantage of the ‘fair weather’ opportunity, thus proving the research to be correct.
