Do your kids take vitamins? A new report finds about a third of U.S. children and teens do, even though most of them are healthy, active kids who probably don’t need them. Ironically, the study shows children who could benefit the most from vitamins – those in fair or poor health with the worst eating habits – were the least likely to take them.

I saw that and was a little confused. Experts don’t recommend vitamins for those taking them, but think the ones not taking them need vitamins. Why not recommend them to all kids? They cited expense, but are they really that expensive? I haven’t checked lately.
