Do you know how much sodium you have a day? A new study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) finds two-thirds of Americans should limit the salt in their diet, but very few of them do. Dietary guidelines recommend most adults have a maximum of 2,300 mg of sodium per day. But you should have no more than 1,500 mg a day if you are African American, have high blood pressure, or if you’re age 40 or older.

I’ve been careful with salt for ages! It’s actually quite bitter.
A salt giveaway would definitely get comments, don’t you think?
I don’t like salt – I think I’m just lucky that way. I pluck it off pretzels, and never add it to anything. Just not a fan. I guess it makes up for my love of sweets.
