POM is good stuff! Hope you had an awesome weekend!
I mix it in with smoothies, or just drink a little straight…and I’ll eat the fruit, but hate dealing with the little little seeds!
Juice, straight up!
I like the fruit as is.
I think I have only bought a pomegranate once in my 33 years of life and I didn’t know how to eat it! I would love to try this juice it looks much easier.
I’ve only had pomegranite as a fruit once and I’ve never tried POM. But I LOVE the new Yoplait Lite Pomegranite Blackberry yogurt!!
I have been drinking Pomagranite juice for a few weeks now and love it straight from the bottle.
I really enjoy the taste of Pomagranite juice. It is really a bonus that is so good for you.
I seriously love this but am on such a tight budget it becomes a treat- try it with a dash of vodka…some sparkling water…i love sprinkling it on yogurt for flavor- lowfat plain..have used it for awhile now
Love this stuff. Straight, fruit, in smoothies, etc….
You know, I can’t say that I have a favorite preparation method! I’ve tried the fruit once (and really enjoyed it), but I’ve never tried the juice. I wouldn’t mind doing so, though!
I LOVE THE FRUIT RIGHT OUT OF ITS SHELL. BEEN EATING IT SINCE I WAS A LITTLE GIRL(LONG, LONG AGO). ALWAYS HAVE THEM IN THE HOUSE IN THE FALL
I prefer the fruit straight up, so to speak.
Great as a fruit.
So convenient as a juice.
Both forms so versatile.
We eat the fruit as is or sprinkled on a salad but peeling it’s a lot of work. It’s worth it, though. I haven’t tried the juice; I’ve been drinking aca’i juice but just gave that up because it’s expensive and I don’t like all the gunk in the bottle! It got moldy on top and I drank some because you couldn’t see thru the bottle and the top was like a skinny wine bottle but very dark. I thought it was the regular gunk. lol
I love Pom, I don’t love how expensive it is, and how many calories are in a bottle! To solve both problems, I make Pom spritzers with sparkling water. A tasty and refreshing drink. Pom the fruit is awesome as a garnish in a salad, it’s an unexpected burst of freshness!
Being a weight watcher, it is a little hard to find healthy treats, so I freeze my pom. juice and make popcicles. And having to have at least 8 glasses of water per day, I make ice cubes with my pom juice and use them in my spring water for flavor.
Janis
herblady – Ewwww!
sandy – good idea to mix it in with sparkling water – will have to try that!
sandy kouzel – I used to eat the fruit a lot when I was little – now I think I’ve gotten lazy! Need to get back to it!
Beth – I have never tried the fruit in a salad – sounds interesting, though… and it looks so pretty, too!
Very creative, janisz! Love the ice cube idea.
I have never had pom juice – I just eat the seeds straight up as a snack!
I’ve never tried the juice. I wouldn’t mind doing that
I have to say I don’t eat pomegranate. I’ve had it once or twice in my life but have only had the seeds straight up. I should try some juice sometime.
JUICE, JUST AS IT IS.
Seeds straight up! Love them but didn’t get to have any this past year because they all looked horrible so I skipped buying them. I would love to try the juice though!
Angie – I remember they didn’t look good when I saw them in stores either – maybe a bad year?
I have loved eating pomegranates since I was a kid. I eat the seeds, but I also love pomegranate tea and juice.
I like Poms any old way. I love the seeds mixed with mandarin orange slices on a bed of mixed greens with cottage cheese or yogurt. Makes a great summer salad/meal served with fresh dinner rolls or crackers. I do the iced cube thing too. Goes good in teas.
I have always just eat them off the tree.
I like the juice, either by itself or blended with other juices, and I also like pomegranate jelly on my morning toast.
I used to eat the fruit straight up when I was a kid, but now I like POM straight from the bottle when I CAN AFFORD IT!
I love the fruit straight and the POM juice – both are wonderful! And a treat! Wish both would be more reasonable!
I love Pom juices but for someone watching there diet the fruit is optimal because you have to work a lot!
i like POM straight out of the bottle, it has a nice, distinct flavor that is very unique. it also tastes great mixed with a little water as well. i haven’t yet, but i would love to try some POM recipes! thank you for the great giveaway!
Michelle – I have never tried pomegranate tea – sounds good, though!
DeeAnn – Yum – I usually put tomatoes on cottage cheese but the pom seeds sound like they would be really good!
Gwen – Pomegranate jelly? Where do you find that? Sounds so good!
krisskross1968 – it can be pricey!
Free – I am cracking up at your comment – it is a lot of work, isn’t it? Makes it more worth it.
anntje – You’re welcome! Thanks for stopping by FFTV.
Straight up as a juice is great.
I like them plain. I also eat them on top of yogurt and salads. I haven’t really tried the juice though.
I like the juice mixed with another fruit like blueberry…in yogurt like this too.
I love POM wonderful straight from the bottle or mixed with sparkling water! It is also great used in a smoothie recipe. I also incorporated it into my fresh cranberry recipe at Thanksgiving this year and it was yummy! It gave the cranberries a nice tart flavor. I also love to eat pomegranates even though it is work! And, I love to put pomegranate seeds on my salads, cottage cheese, yogurt & on top of my ice cream too! On top of tasting great, they are good for you too! P.S. Thanks for providing this great giveaway!
We used to eat the fruit on volleyball trips in High School! Love it!
I also like mixing Pom with sparkling water.
I haven’t had a real pomegranate in quite a while — but I seem to remember putting the seeds in a glass of champagne (makes it healthier..right Sahar?)
kburch – did you see that blueberry POM smoothie recipe I linked to? Sounds so good!
Tiff – I definitely need to experiment more – I’ve only had them plain. Sounds like a great topping for yogurt!
pmshadow – How creative to add pomegranates to your T-Day cranberry recipe! And ice cream too, huh?
dfarris – Did it get messy on those trips?
eant36 – Hmmm… maybe if you only have one glass… I wonder if the antioxidant effects offset the negative effects of the alcohol?
I LOVE pomegranate seeds, and when I can manage it I splurge on the pre-picked, pre-separated seeds — no mess, no picking little bits of rind and pith off all the seeds. They sell containers at Trader Joe’s and Costco — but they are pricey. I love to eat them one at a time out of the bowl as a snack, but sometimes I can’t control myself and go at it with a spoon!
One glass? Good one!
jlutzky – I love both Trader Joe’s and Costco. I will have to look for the pre-picked seeds!
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh eant!
I’ve only tried the yogurt flavor-YUM and have only had the juice in champagne(mmmm) and a martini.:) delish…but not very health concious!! I’ve had acai juice and love it, but not the price. Wouldn’t mind trying this!
I just love drinking POM. I will mix it with Perrier sparkling water for and cool refreshing drink or sometimes I will mix it with a diet 7-Up.

I like to add pom to my fruit salad the day it will be eaten!
I love the fruit and the kids do also-they do take some time to get to the seeds. I have never tried Pom.
I love eating pomegranates by themselves, but it can be messy especially if you’re wearing white.
I try to get my family to drink as much green tea as I do, so I use Pomegranate juice as an incentive. For me, Pomegranate juice makes Green Tea EVEN kickier and for the members of my family (amateurs!), pomegranate juice makes green tea bearable.
Another cool trick I’ve used is this: I put a bag of frozen pineapple chunks into my food processor along with some vanilla yogurt. I process until it looks like a chunky slushy. Then I add a little pomegranate to jazz it up.
Delicious!
I prefer juice only!
LOL RussianBlondie – at least you’re adding some antioxidants to your cocktails!
Sounds so refreshing, Tamara!
pebs27 – I would advise against wearing white when you eat them. Same goes for any other red foods or drinks, especially for me – I am a bit of a klutz!
Joi – Wow, that pineapple/yogurt/pom combo sounds fabulous! Thanks for sharing!
I Love POM. I usually add a little to my ice tea for some extra flavor. Also I make smoothies with it for my kids. Pomegranates are great and I am pretty sure that they were the forbidden fruit. Apples? what is tempting about apples?
OMG LissaL – You have such a great point!
