Back to the ecosumo water bottles… I have three up for grabs this week. To enter for a chance to win one, just head down to the comments and tell me what you use now for your water, and why you want to replace it with one of these!
A few contest details – it runs through midnight EST this Friday, May 15, you have to have a U.S. mailing address to enter… and we will use random.org to pick the winners.

I currently use a regular old plastic bottle I got as a freebie at a health fair. Would love to use something I knew wasn’t leaching anything harmful into my drinks!
Well, we just bought new water bottles, the nice CamelBak ones to use for the gym however I have 2 Tupperware water bottles that are on their last legs so I would totally replace one of those. Thanks for the chance to enter.
I am currently washing out a 32 oz plastic bottle from a prior purchase. While this is being “earth friendly” it does present a health concern. Getting this new bottle would help me go green and be more health conscious.
I am currently using a sigg bottle and I love it. But its becoming very beat up after a few years of daily use. I love bottles you feel good about drinking from.
I refill plastic liter bottles from the tap.
We use a bunch of horrid plastic water bottles to get through everyone’s soccer practices. Eww.
I think having a high quality water bottle is important. Refilling plastic water bottles you get from the store is not a good idea, as they’re not meant to last. Overtime they degrade, which can’t be good for you.

Okay – this is so NOT green, but I go to Sonic everyday and get a Large Water. It is cheap and that way I know that I am at least drinking 32 oz of water. And you can have Limes, Lemons or any flavor added to it to spruce it up a bit
I stole a water bottle that had been left behind by a former co-worker at work…then I left it in Richmond and haven’t seen it since. I’ve been using throw-away plastic water bottles (and reusing them, of course). I’m such a slacker!
I have several Rubbermaid bottles that I like a lot. However, the rest of the family likes them too, so I seem to have trouble keeping one for me. THIS would clearly be MINE!
i still buy plastic bottles at the grocery store – i find i drink more if i have them handy – no very eco-friendly – but it helps me get my water in.
I have been using plastic water bottles for my water but I know that this is not environmentally friendly (though we recycle the bottles)and it looks like the ecosumo water bottle would keep my water cooler.
I have a horrible pink plastic that makes everything taste nasty beyond belief
I have a boring plastic one with a broken latch, so a new one that looks so chic would be great.
A while back I bought bottled water in a glass bottle and have been reusing that bottle since. I fear breakage, and I’m also concerned about bacteria, since it’s difficult to clean. I pour boiling water in it, but still . . .
I have a SIGG bottle that I have had now for almost 3 years. It shows LOVE dents but I think it would be happy if I ended up with a shiny new blue EcoSumo bottle!
Sara – Yes, it’s nice to feel good about the water bottles you use, isn’t it? Just checked out your blog – very cool!
vett1202 – Be careful with that old bottle!
K – Ewww!
Zandria – Hmmm… sounds like that water bottle keeps getting left behind! I wonder who’s using it now?
sandy – that does NOT sound healthy!
sito – OMG, if I had a glass bottle, it would have totally broken so long ago!
Christal – At least you’re drinking lots of water, huh?
When at home I have a glass of water that I keep close by. On the road I use several plastic water bottles that I refill. I’d like to replace these bottles because I know the plastic isn’t good environmentally or health wise. Thanks for this opportunity.
I drink water all of the time. I reuse plastic water bottles over and over until they start to gross me out. I always have at least one with me at all times. When I’m on the bus, just watching television and even when I’m in
bed (to insure no spills).
So, I have this glass I keep at my desk. I use it exclusively for water. The problem? It’s plastered with the words “Coca Cola” all over it. What kind of message am I sending? Drink Coke or drink water? If I’m wanting to support the drinking of water, wouldn’t it be better not to advertise a carbonated soda?
I’ve recycled a vintage looking soda bottle, and it’s fun to look so shabby chic, but it doesn’t have a top and I don’t know what kind of nasty things are flying down into it!
Lance - I have a couple of those “marked” glasses too! But they are kind of cool…
Mimi – that sounds so interesting! But you’re right – with no top, you just don’t know what’s going into it!
I just drink out of the regular old plastic bottles. Buy them in cases of 24 and refill once or twice then toss. Have wanted a reusable BPA free bottle for some time, just haven’t bought one…but a free one would be great!
A few years ago, I had a coupon for a free bottle of Propel Fitness Water, so I used it. I wasn’t impressed with the flavor, so I never bought the stuff again, but I kept the bottle – blue polyethylene with a really comfortable mouthpiece – and I’ve been refilling it from my filter pitcher ever since.
I don’t really have anything in particular that I use. I just bought each of my kids a Klean Kanteen, but nothing for myself yet. It’s a problem, too, since I end up drinking a lot at night to make up for lack of drinking during the day!
I love the green products…FATFIGHTERTV rocks!

I use a sigg water bottle but the top is broken so its leaky
I typically use a Nalgene water bottle or re-use one of the plastic water bottles I have and fill it up with water
I currently rotate between an old BPA containing Nalgene bottle and a coffee mug on my desk
I need a new bottle!!
Gwenelle – Wow, I am so impressed that you kept that bottle for this long!
I use plastic water bottles that I have bought and drunk, then refilled with tap water. They are handy enough, but they don’t stay cold long enough. I would love something insulated to stay cold.
I buy large bottles of water, but they are not easy to hold so I’d love one like the insulated ones shown here.
I have a Sigg that is getting very battered. I would love a new water bottle.
I use a plastic water bottle or anything in my grasp.I don’t have a regular water bottle and so I don’t drink enough water on a daily basis. I’d really like something that I could keep with me all the time, especially at work.
I use glass but would rather the kids not use glass, but want them to have safe water too.
I re-use plastic water bottles. I fill them half full and freeze them. It works for me but my co-worker HATES them. She believes that plastic is harmful to the environment. I would love to have one of these eco friendly bottles! It would make me and my co-worker VERY happy!
oh my, at home I just use my Brita water filter, but won’t allow myself to use my old BPA-ridden water bottle when out, so I’ve been buying plastic bottles and reusing them 1-2 times. I SO need a new water bottle!
Margie – so nice of you to want to make your co-worker happy!
Rebecca – glad you’re not subjecting yourself to your old BPA-ridden water bottle.
Hi, FFQueen!
Presently I use a K-State thermal cup…and that’s okay, but when we go to the North Pasture to check cattle, it tips easily and the lid pops off! Also, it’s pretty marred up from the farm trips up there in the “brush truck”. Thanks for all you do to help us stay healthy and happy!
i currently use water bottles to hold my water and i would like to have an ecosumo inorder to go green and stop consuming and wasting plastic with all of the regular water bottles that i currently use. Plus, the plastic would not leak into my water if i had an ecosumo like plain water bottles do
I use a SIGG bottle. Filled with tap water. It’s getting beat up and my kids have started to borrow it – so, we could use more.
Kansas Girl – You always make me laugh!
I bet if you had a KU cup, you wouldn’t have nearly as many problems.
#1 Kansas Girl is too cool to use an uncool KU cup
#2 I use a tumbler with a giant R on it at my desk. We have a water & ice machine at work. I clean it every night–and refill it throughout the day. I would love a shiny new blue water bottle. I think it would spruce up my cubicle. THANKS FF!!!
Gossipista:
#1 Whatever
#2 Your tumbler sounds too cute! (of course)
Hey FatFighter Chic.
I have been reusing the same Aquafina Bottle for 13 days now. I needs to get me one of those snazzy Eco bottles. Those a perdy.
I’d LOVE to have a bottle because..sigh, I buy large plastic bottle and throw them away after using for a couple days. I’m not feeling very good about admitting that but it’s the truth…
I need to go green!
Cheers
Barb
I have been using the same plastic water bottle that I bought full at a quick shop last November. I just keep washing it and refilling it. I would love this water bottle. Besides being earth friendly (my plastic bottle will eventually die and go to the recycle bin – I can pass this one on in my will
) they also keep your water cool for hours. How great would that be this summer when I am sweating my way across the trails at Iliff Commons! Besides – everyone at the gym would think I was really cool if I had it. When they asked where I got it I would say, “I won it on FatfighterTV.com. You should check it out. You can win stuff too!!!”
I have one that I got from work-it has our logo on it, but the quality of the plastic just isn’t very good and the water tastes like plastic. I don’t use it very much because of that, so it just sits on my desk
I buy a bottle of water then use the same bottle the rest of the day. Sometimes I use it 2-3 days, if I don’t get to the store
