Counting calories may soon become easier to do at restaurants. Chains have now agreed to support legislation that would require them to post calories on their menus. Restaurants with 20 or more locations would have to list the number of calories in each item. And if someone asks, they would also have to show them other nutritional information like the amount of sugar, salt or cholesterol in the food. Congress is expected to discuss the menu labeling law during the next few weeks.
