I’m most vulnerable right after work when I get home to prepare dinner. Anything is game, but I’m finding if I eat something right before I leave work (like yesterday’s grapes) I can control my Greedy Gene until dinner is served. And lemme to you, it takes LOTS of control!
Fruit, almonds, and a Hershey’s dark chocolate “nugget” are my snacks of choice. Oh, and frozen yogurt. But mainly the fruit and almonds.
How do you snack before breakfast?? I know Taco Bell is pushing the 4th meal, but please!!
You know my feelings on snacking. If you (not you, Sahar) are having problems with losing weight, look to your snacking to find the excess calories.
Yum Yucky – What is this Greedy Gene of which you speak???
Cammy – Yum! Almonds! (and that dark chocolate nugget…)
Dr. J – I was thinking the same thing about snacking before breakfast when I saw that. Why would you do that? Weird.
@FatFighter – The Greedy Gene is in my DNA, something I was born with. If left unchecked it will cause my fat cells to swell in the region of my thighs and booty. It may also cause a 2nd stomach to grow to accommodate additional foodstuffs. It is very dangerous and must be controlled.
I’m the worst when I’m starving, usually before dinner time. I will eat anything that is easy and in site (which usually ends up being something not healthy).

Interesting topic. I snack when I can find snacks.
