So, is it summer yet??! Far from it, I know… so it’s a good thing you’ve got FatFighterTV’s Winter Workouts (indoors) giveaway series to help you keep working out without stepping out into the cold.

Giveaway #3 is the fast-paced new addition to Jari Love’s Get RIPPED! workout DVD series, Get Extremely RIPPED! 1000. Now, I gotta admit, I got a copy of this DVD but I have not tried it yet. Can’t wait to do it, though! I mean, who doesn’t want to get extremely ripped working out from home this winter?
The DVD focuses on interval training – three-minute cardio workouts followed by one minute of strength training. You can choose between two 30-minute workouts or a 60-minute one. All you need are some light weights. A step and exercise mat are optional.
This week, Jari is giving a copy of Get Extremely RIPPED! 1000 to 4 FFTV members. To enter for a chance to win, just tell me what you’re doing to squeeze in exercise during this busy holiday season. Are you sticking to your regular workout schedule? Or finding creative ways to fit in a few minutes here and there?
Confession – my schedule has been way off lately because I’ve been fighting a stinkin’ cold… but no worries, I will be back at it again very soon! Gotta have my exercise!
See you in the comments!
Contest runs through midnight EST this Friday, December 18, you have to have a U.S. mailing address to enter, and we will use random.org to pick the winner.

I have been keeping to my routine during the holiday season because it helps me stay focused when other events are taking place.
I am trying to stay on track but am going to get creative when the gym is closed over the Christmas holidays for sure!
I collaborate with girls at work to an exercise challenge – need to do 210 minutes of exercise a week (30 min a day) and if you meet that goal, we draw names for a winner, the winner gets a workout DVD of their choice paid for by the other contestants. It’s great, keeps me motivated!
Julie – That exercise challenge is very cool. I absolutely love it!!!
I’m sticking to my usual routine of hitting the gym by 5am so I can get in a decent workout before work. That way, I have my evenings free to shop, cook and relax!
OMG Tamara – 5am? I am totally impressed!
Ha- thanks. I’m still not a morning person by any means, but at that hour, I’m too tired to come up with excuses to skip exercise
Tamara – whatever works, right?
I try to stick to my regular routine of 4am running outdoors, but I have been mixing it up a little on some days by running right after work at one of the nearby trails. I can run for an hour and still pick the kids up on time! This only works when the kids do not have any activities to go to on those nights, otherwise I don’t have time for a shower and nobody wants to sit next to the stinky sweaty mom!
Wow, people really are up at that time? (I am so not a morning person!) But good for you for sticking to it!
I could totally lie and tell you I’m finding some creative way to squeeze in exercise this winter. However, the truth of the matter is, I’ve become horrible at working out the last couple months! I will completely blame it on work. But after the holidays I promise to get better…maybe the DVD would help?!
Michelle O – What? You have become horrible at working out? What’s up with that??? Wish we could go on a walk…
This looks like an amazing workout–looking for something to change up my routine
I have been really bad about my workouts. Health problems can really take a toll on one’s ability to have the motivation to exercise.
Diana – Yes, health problems really do take their toll on exercise. I hope you are okay.
Looks like an awesome way to change up my routine, will it give me a six-pack like my son has???? Really bad when your 15yr has better abs than you
Christal – OMG, what is up with that??? Caden has six-pack abs? That’s awesome!
I have not done a very good job squeezing in exercise time lately. Bad girl! Ski season is here though, so soon enough I will make good use of my season pass and burn calories that way. Would love to have a good workout video to use at home when it’s too cold to ski!
I actually have decided that 10 minutes at a time might be better then nothing so morning and night I am doing 10 minutes of yga and I stop 2x A day at work and just walk around.
Amykr – 10 minutes at a time is definitely better than doing nothing! Good for you for squeezing in exercise!
I’ll have to see if Netflix has this. I don’t really care about getting “ripped”, but I like interval training.
Cammy – I LOVE interval training – it is the best!
I use dvd’s as well as I have been jumping rope a lot and using my stairs if I am running behind.
Great giveaway.
Jodie – Stairs are such a great workout, aren’t they?
I am sticking to my routine as much as possible considering I have a job that requires me to stay in top shape. But when I am too busy to keep my crazy gym routine to a T, I get up 2 hours early to get in at least an intense cardio and weights! Which is why this dvd would be awesome because of the circuit training! I love all of Jari Love’s dvds I have and this would be a great new addition!
I’ve been trying to keep up with my walking 3-4x a week during this busy Christmas season. It can be difficult sometimes. I would like to have some more variety in my work-out time and maybe this would be a good addition. I have about 10 more pounds I would like to lose. My goal during the Holidays is to at least maintain around a certain weight and lose those last 10 lbs next year!
Joy – Great goal – maintain that weight and enjoy the holidays, then lose the last 10 pounds next year. Keep me posted, okay?
I am trying to keep with training schedule by using exercise tv on comcast. I would love to try our Jari Love dvd’s.
Sticking to my routine yet some days there are detours. Just got to get back to it ASAP.
i’ve been exercising first thing in the morning, in an effort to get it out of the way early
I haven’t been getting the exercise in-new job, getting ready for the holidays, sick kids… but I am hoping to start again soon
Lately I’ve been finding it hard to work out with finals, but hopefully I will fall back into my routine when exams are over. In the mean time, I’ve been walking everywhere on campus instead of taking the bus since I can’t make it to the gym
Laura – It’s hard when you get out of your routine. But that’s fabulous that you are walking on campus instead of taking the bus!
I am getting up one hour earlier to make sure I get my workout in. I have also found that it is best for me to work out right away in the morning, (just like brushing my teeth!) as I tend to run out of time and am too exhausted later to fit it in.
It’s so cold here and I find it so hard to get out of the house to the gym. I have some Jilian’s videos but would love to add more to my collection to work out more during this cold weather.
I exercise at 5 am also–my body is willing but my brain can’t always plan a great workout! This dvd sounds like the answer! Cardio and weight training in one session where someone else thought of everything.
Mari – It’s the perfect combo, really!
I’m not doing anything right nwo which is why I need this CD!
I’ve been going to Curves (I work there 2-3 times a week) which really ‘makes’ me get to it. But I’m there at 6qm, so when it’s empty, I turn the music up and do a ‘flashdance’ down the middle of the room! I hopep they don’t have security cameras!! Also, I try to do some movement all the time-lunges, kneebends, stretches, anything as many times a day as I can. At Weight Watchers, we call those ‘acctunities’- opportunity for activity!! Keep on moving!
Russian Blondie – I think I saw that video of you doing your “flashdance.’ Acctunities – love it!
I just keep active. I have so much to do all the time (more during Christmas season) that I have no time to rest!
I worked out today in the house as it was too cold to do outside. You can modify your workouts if you like… its all in the desire to do it!
Dee – Working indoors is the only way to go for me these days. It’s in the single digits out there!!!!!
