A couple of weeks ago, I came home to find this outside my doorstep – a big box of fresh, organic, delicious fruits and vegetables! My husband and I dug in and polished off the strawberries, zucchini, peaches, and mushrooms on the day this fabulous package, called the TakeHome, arrived.
The Take Home is new from The FruitGuys and was created to bring regional, organic produce directly to your workplace to yep… take home if you do not have access to a Farmer’s Market or are too busy to shop for fresh produce.
Besides being impressed with how fresh and great-tasting everything was, I love how this company supports small family farms – the produce goes from local farms to homes within two to four days. Plus the TakeHome is packed in earth friendly, recycled cardboard crates and printed with soy-based inks.
You can order a TakeHome online here… and/or enter for a chance to win one for free. How? Hmmm… how about just tell me what you would make with the zucchini, okay?
Me – I sauteed it with mushrooms and garlic, mixed it all in some pasta sauce, and served it over whole wheat spaghetti. It was sooooo good!
See you in the comments!
Contest runs through midnight EST this Friday, May 28, you have to have a U.S. mailing address to enter, and we will use random.org to pick the winner.
