Nearly one in four British adults is obese, according to the latest statistics. The report also shows weight loss surgery was up 40 percent last year and overall hospital admissions for obesity increased 30 percent. Last year, Britain’s Health Secretary warned that 90-percent of adults will be obese or overweight within the next 50 years.

You know the obesity epidemic isn’t just a problem in the United States. Now Britain’s Health Secretary warns, 90-percent of adults will be obese or overweight within the next 50 years. Right now, about 9,000 people in Britain die prematurely from obesity-related conditions every year and one-third of 11- and 12-year-olds are overweight.
