New York becomes first in the nation to ban trans fats

From the burger joints to the fancy eateries, New York is now the first city in the country to go trans-fat-free. About a year and a half ago, the Board of Health voted to ban the artery-clogging fat from the city’s restaurants. Today, the ruling goes into full effect.
