It’s not just a condition for the middle-aged. Doctors across the country say they are seeing a big increase in children with kidney stones – sometimes the kids are as young as five or six. Some hospitals have even opened pediatric kidney stone clinics.

The reason? Experts say there are several factors including a rise in obesity and too much salt in kids’ diets.
