First we heard about Japan’s fat law to get its citizens to slim down. Now, Alabama is cracking down on state workers who are too fat. The state’s 37,527 employees have a year to start getting fit or they’ll have to pay $25 a month for insurance that is usually free.

Do you think this is a good way to get employees to lose weight? Or would it be better to use some kind of positive, reward system?
