Around this time of year, I have a hard time doing much of anything, exercise included. When the days are shorter and colder, my list of excuses gets longer and my motivation hits rock bottom. But I’m working on it. Some excuse-busters I just saw might help. They are all about the response counter.

I love to cook, as you can see by the dozens of cookbooks on my kitchen shelf! Most of them are filled with healthy recipes, but a few of them are not, so I had to learn how to lighten them up.

You know that hip bursitis thing I told you I had? It turns out all the strength training I’ve been doing in my physical therapy has helped immensely! I’m not 100% yet, but I’m getting close. And it has really made me realize the benefits of strong muscles.
